Additional Costs

Parents/Guardians of potential Antioch Cheerleaders,

While we would love to provide all needed items for our cheerleaders, we unfortunately can't. So we want parents/guaridans to be aware of the costs that are required before tryouts. Below you will find a list of items that the cheerleaders will need.  

Required Item Prices 

Body liner $13.99

Briefs 5.99

Cheer shoes (must be all white) about $30  - Suggest buying actual cheer shoes as these are built to be more supportive and safer for cheerleading than the average tennis shoe.

*Pom Poms $10 per pair- While we normally would provide poms for our cheeleaders, due to Covid-19 precautions we are selling our current poms. They will be able to retain these at the end of the season. Please note these are used and you are receiving a reduced price for them.

Provided Items

We will be providing shells, skirts, warmups, and hair bows for each cheerleader. They will be able to retain the hairbows at the end of the season.

Additional information about how/where to purchase these items will be communicated after the squad is selected.

NOTE: If the student qualifies for the Basketball Cheerleading Season, they can use all of the same items.

Antioch Cheer Tryouts

 Antioch Cheer will be back on August 24th! 

We will be starting the season with 3 days of tryout clinics that are mandatory for learning the materials for tryouts followed by tryouts, all in the Antioch small gym.

Clinics: August 24th- 26th 3:00-5:00pm

Tryouts: August 26th - Tumbling Tryouts /August 27th 3:00-5:00pm Cheer, Chant, and Jump Tryout

What to bring on the first day (Aug. 24th):

Completed tryout packet 

Physical Forms (Annual Form everyone needs) 

Athlete Handbook Signed

Water bottle

Face mask 

**Completed tryout packet can be emailed to antiochcheerleading@gmail.com before the first day. 

What to wear to tryouts (Aug. 26th/Aug. 27th):

All white T-Shirt 

Black Athletic shorts

Sturdy tennis shoes 

Hair up in ponytail (must be out of face) 

**No jewelry is allowed**

**No acrylic nails are allowed** 

Our first day of practice will be Friday the 28th at 3pm.

Cheer Fundraiser!

Hello Antioch Spartan Cheerleaders and Parents,

During the week of Feb.24 through Feb. 28, cheer is hosting a fundraiser raffle. We will be selling raffle tickets for $1 before school from 7-7:15 in the main hallway and during lunch. Kids and staff may also come and see me to purchase tickets. The QR code below gives all the details and photos of the items. The items will not be on display as we have way too many. They are already packaged up by number for the winners!  We have around 70 items ranging from decorative plates to iTunes gift cards, to jewelry, to candy, BBQ sets, tool sets, to Chiefs cups, to a few articles of clothing, to bath salts, to packets of Spartan Spears, to Lipsense product sets, to a Fire & cover, etc. The more tickets purchased the better chance of winning! (If you check out the items and want to purchase some raffle tickets, I would be more than happy to oblige. Just send the money with your child and tell me the item number you want! Please scan the QR code to see the prizes in list form and picture form.

Raffle prizes will be delivered to winners on Tuesday, March 2.

Upcoming Oak Park Clinics

Oak park will be bringing in other cheer professionals to help develop skills and prepare everyone for upcoming tryouts. 

When: February 22^nd and March 7^th

Time: 9am-11am

Where: Oak Park Aux Gym

Cost: $10 for each clinic 

All 7^th and 8^th grade cheerleaders are invited! 

High school tryout information will be posted soon so stay tuned if you are interested!
