Basketball Cheerleading Clinic and Tryouts - Oct. 26, 28, and 29th

Winter Cheer is about to start and we are excited to invite any and all Antioch Middle School students to come tryout for the 2020-2021 Basketball Cheerleading Squad! Below are some FAQs that will help you get started.

What is clinic? 

This is where we teach you all the material you need to know for tryouts.

When and where will clinics be held? 

Monday, Oct. 26 and 28th from 3pm to 5pm in the small gym at Antioch Middle School. 

You need to attend clinic both days as tryout material may be different on different days.

What do I need to wear and bring with me?

For clinics you need to wear workout appropriate clothes, tennis shoes, and bring a big water bottle. If you have long hair, pull it up in a pony tail and away from your face. Jewelry is not allowed including peircings and must be removed prior to attending clinic. 

*Also you must have a current physical the 1st day of clinics. You will not be allowed to participate in clinics if you do not have one either already on file with the school, or a current copy of one from a doctor.

Will there be bus transportation for clinics?

If you are currently riding a sports bus to and from a sport you can utilize the bus for clinics and tryouts. If you are not currently riding the bus FOR A SPORT you must provide your own transportation to clinics and tryouts. If you are selected for the squad we can arrange to add you to the sports bus route.

Can students that are 100% virtual tryout? 

Yes.

TRYOUT SPECIFIC INFO

October 29th - warmups from 3:00 to 3:30, Tryouts from 3:30 to 5:00pm

- You must bring a completed application that is signed by you and a parent in order to tryout

- You must wear black shorts and a white T-shirt with no print specifically on tryout day. 

- You can leave after you tryout.
